Sashiko Stitching with Elizabeth Royal

Join us on Monday, November 18th for a presentation on Sashiko Stitching presented by Elizabeth Royal.

Elizabeth Royal is  a maker, mender, and photographer.  She lives in a 1920's fixer upper in Detroit, a city she loves very much for the rich history, tight-knit communities, and infinite possibility.

During the day she is an instructional designer but after work you can find her tackling her favorite projects in her studio -  photography, Kintsugi, and visible mending.

SASHIKO STITCHING

A traditional technique from Japan, Sashiko means "little stabs," which perfectly describes the distinctive running stitch that defines Sashiko's style.
