February Guild Meeting

Our February meeting will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018.  Due to President's day we will be meeting on the fourth Monday instead of the third Monday.  Please mark your calendars!

Our program this month will be a hands on project.  We will be making a necklace.

The only thing you will need to bring is a box to put your necklace in to take home.  An old jewelry box will work the best, with a piece of cotton or paper toweling in the bottom to protect your piece as you travel home.

Ezilla

What is Ezilla?

Ezilla is an event designed to increase knowledge and awareness of handspinning, crocheting, or knitting starting on St Distaff Day!

Why Ezilla?

Spinning and Weaving Week has been a long-standing tradition in the spinning and weaving community. The Eastside Handweavers Guild wanted to create an event in which spinners, crocheters, and knitters of all skill levels could participate. Ezilla is first and foremost a celebration of fiber. The competition is designed to motivate everyone to learn new skills, take risks, and spin, crochet or knit their hearts out.

Members brought in the items and their inches
Mary Lou 23,597
Diane 22,082
Kathleen 18,000
Marge  11,880
Cindy  10,370

Here is a sample of one of the members contributions to Ezilla.
